I’m excited to be able to do what I love & love what I do – just by being authentically me and utilising all the knowledge, experience, skills, gifts and talents I’ve accumulated along the way.  I teach the incredible women I work with how to do exactly the same thing.

And Absolutely Fabulous Life!?

If you’d told me a few years ago that I’d be running a business in which I do all the things I love, every single day, I don’t think I’d have believed you.  I knew, deep down, that I was capable of doing it, but there seemed to be so many things in the way – not least of which was me!

I’d raised a family and I’d worked in Human Resources, Recruiting & Project Management – all of which had fulfilled my desire to work with, and help develop, wonderful people – but I felt there was something more for me; a bigger, more extraordinary life to be found & lived.

Then I turned 40….

The big ‘Four O’ hadn’t bothered me at all – until I saw all those cards, joking about the fact that I was now in the second half of my life!

Suddenly, I realised that the first half had gone by so quickly and I hadn’t done what I’d wanted to do.  I didn’t even understand, at that point, what the ‘it’ was; I just had a sense that there was a definite, important ’something’.

That was the planting of the tiny seed that’s grown into Absolutely Fabulous Life!

Finding Coaching was my first ‘eureka’ moment.  Having finally invested in Coaching for myself, I knew I wanted to train to become a Coach.  So, despite several challenges (which seemed at the time to be insurmountable), I did just that.

It turns out that was just the beginning of an awfully big adventure….

Several of the women I was working with were telling me that something was missing for them; their lives were, to an outside observer, ‘fine’, but they lacked real meaning and purpose.  They felt unexcited and deeply unfulfilled – and that life was passing them by without them having found what they ’should’ be doing.

Can you identify with that?

These women were asking me to help them work out exactly who they were and what they were meant to be doing with their lives.

I decided to study the field of  ‘meaning & purpose’ and I discovered, from my 18-month (and, indeed, ongoing) study,  that living a BIG, fabulous life comes from being authentically who we are – with all our gifts, talents, personality, knowledge, experiences, passions and foibles - and applying our particular brand of genius (we all have it) to doing what we love, loving what we do and making the difference we were born to make.

My research also led me to build my business around helping extraordinary women to find and live their higher purpose – because, I discovered,  that’s a big part of my life’s purpose!

The difference I was born and designed to make is this:
